Current Broadcast Information for College By Television @ College of the Canyons
College by Television (CTV) courses are aired on public television and on the Santa Clarita public access cable channel 20. Public Access channel 20 is only available from Cable companies in Canyon Country, Saugus, Newhall and Valencia. It is NOT available in Stevenson Ranch, or outside of the City of Santa Clarita, nor is it available on any satellite dish network. As many telecourses broadcast at times when students cannot watch the programs "live," having access to a VCR, preferably with a timer, is critical.
Courses are broadcast during fall and spring semesters, in one 60-minute block, or two 30-minute blocks. Tapes may also be viewed in the following ways:
- Tapes may be viewed in viewing rooms on the 2nd floor of the campus library.
- Tapes are available for overnight checkout on the 2nd floor of the campus library.
- Tapes may be rented from RMI Media Productions. Information is available on the "Contact Us" link above.
